Delectare

This planning business, it is a lot of work. For the moment it is a lot of fun work, but that could change.

At this moment we have:

* A location: Beautiful collection of cabins on the Mckenzie river. The wedding ceremony and reception will be on beautiful lawn right on the river.

* Date: September 22, 2007
* Colors: light blue and silver.

* Bridal party: mostly finalized, but not everyone has been asked as of today.

Planning that I’m working on at this moment include rentals (we need everything), attire for me, brad, and attendants, photography, and catering. Catering is the biggest headache so far. I’ve interviewed three so far, the latest one being Cornucopia. They seem to promise the most, out of all the three, so if their estimate comes in under our budget, I think we’ll go with them. They did Rachel and Micah’s wedding and it was beautiful.

So here we are, with our first post. I’m going to go ahead and post some garbage here, since I’m probably going to delete this anyway. I still need to switch up the site config so /wordpress is the root. Also, Sara is probaly going to want me to change the slightly odd tagline

Edit: Aww yeah, blog on the root. Mission accomplished. Time to hit the sack.
